Membership Information

Becoming a Member

To join the club you must fill out a membership application and mail it to the club secretary at the address on the application.  The application can be downloaded here in PDF form, you may send an e-mail to the club secretary to obtain a form by snail-mail, or stop by the field when members are present to pick one up.

To be a member you must also be a Full Open member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) which provides insurance for model flying, pay the initiation fee and annual membership dues, and agree to abide by club rules.  If you join after the beginning of a calendar year, dues are pro-rated for the remainder of the year.  Once your membership is approved you will be given the access code to the field.  

Flying model aircraft is a challenging activity that requires developing some specific skills.  If you have never flown before we can provide instruction using your own airplane or the club trainer.
