Field Camera

The site is monitored by a camera that takes real-time photos of the flying areas so that we can determine if there are workers in the adjoining agricultural fields.  Club rules restrict flying to park flyers only when there are 5 or more workers in the field so the camera images can be used to help members determine what kinds of airplanes to bring.  The camera is active from approximately 7 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. every day (it varies with the seasons), taking three photos (left, center, and right) every 10 minutes.

Click leftcenter, or right here for thumbnails of all the photos taken on the current day.  You can click on each thumbnail to see the corresponding full size image.

Prior to the current day, photos are archived here:  left, center, right.  These are named by the date and time they were downloaded.  For example, 11252009-101001.jpeg was downloaded on 11/25/2009 at 10:10:01 (10:10 a.m. and 1 second) and probably taken 5 minutes earlier.  Look at the date stamp in the upper left corner of each photo to see the actual time and date it was taken.
