Sunday Nov. 11 will be our last contest in 2018. On Nov. 11 1918 at 11 am all hostilities of World War One came to an end! This is a memorable day in the History of the world and we will remember the day with our own contest using model aircraft of that vintage! (Thank you Richard Tacklind for this information and idea)
Any aircraft designed before the early 1920's is eligible to enter. If you don't have one in your arsenal, build one, buy one, borrow one but just get one to show off (maybe Alan will inspire you)!! The designers of that era were most creative (as Alan Brown has demonstrated many times). How creative can you be??
This is a scale aircraft contest so bring the plane and documentation to identify the design, the designer and history of the plane. We will judge the models on appearance, documentation and flight capability. Perhaps your flair for presentation skills might get you some bonus points as well (vintage costumes of the day?).
